Grief is the human reaction to significant loss, and it can be overwhelming. The intensity and duration of grief, as well as some of the physical and emotional symptoms common to grieving, take many people by surprise, especially if this is their first major loss.

Our Navian Hawaii bereavement counselors and trained volunteers offer support up to a year following the death of a loved one. Additionally, we offer bereavement workshops and support groups for individuals who want to connect with others for support and healing. Our services are open to the community – not just the patient’s family.

Ways We Can Help You Through Grief

"A Night to Remember"

Navian Hawaii hosts a memorial service dedicated to honoring the memories of loved ones who have passed. We invite the all friends and family to join us at this free event.

Family Night

We understand how death can impact families, especially those with children. On the first Thursday of every other month from 6:00pm – 7:30pm, our Navian Hawaii bereavement team offers families with children to meet with other families who have experienced loss from the death of a loved one. Each family has the opportunity to support one another through sharing and activities for all ages. Together we will learn about different ways to cope with grief while also connecting with other bereaved families.

Family Night

Navian Hawaii provides scheduled “check ins” throughout the duration of your healing process. We are happy to contact you through your preferred method (by mail or telephone) for support. After a loved one passes, you may wish to opt for our 13-month program, during which we stay in touch and offer emotional support for that duration.

Grief Support Groups

Navian Hawaii hosts multiple grief support groups multiple times a month on Oahu, Molokai and Lanai. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Aliquam quis dignissim nunc, a condimentum leo.
